“Tea Is Just like the Entire World in a Small Cup.” – Zhanna Koiviola
With tea consumption growing around the world, the United Nations has designated May 21 "International Tea Day." To honor the significance of the international tea trade the goal is to create awareness about the safe working conditions of the tea workers, fair trade, and a sustainable environment in which the tea is being produced. Tea remains the second most consumed beverage in the world, behind water. It is a versatile drink with a long, rich history and fascinating production processes. In every teacup, there is a story and a history. Let’s celebrate tea and the people behind every leaf with a cup or two of our favorites!
