Conceived in a dream, the child Luna Azure is born to the Elemental Witch Fiona at the rising of the Blue Moon on All Hallows Eve. The midwife, Sulky, bestows upon the babe the blessing of eternal life, as she did Fiona. But what begins as a blessing turns out to be an eternity of sorrow for Fiona when the baby is cursed by Fiona's childhood friend, Andreas. He believes Fiona put a spell on him that made him a creature of darkness.
Travel through time with us as Fiona and her chosen sisters follow Andreas around the world as he pursues the one who possesses the Book of Shadows... the only book with the counter spell to bring him out of the darkness and release Luna Azure from eternal sleep.

Hi. I'm an independent author of contemporary women's fiction. As a young mother, I began writing stories for my children. As they grew up, I progressed to writing contemporary general fiction. Originally from the Bay Area in California, I now live in the heartland of the midwest in Kansas, where I spend my days writing, working in my garden or reading. I also lead a weekly guided meditation group via Zoom with participants across the country. Also with my bestie Maxine, we facilitate Tootsie's Book Club. If you'd like to participate in the book club, please contact me.

Bayou Okatrois
It hasn't been a good day for Bonnie Mason. She received a call from her daughter who said she had moved in with her green-haired, sometimes-working, quasi-musician boyfriend. Livvy moving 2,000 miles away to go to college was hard enough on Bonnie. As she got ready to leave work at the end of the day, she was called into the conference room and handed a surprise gift... a severance check. Ready for a nice hot bath and a glass of wine, she pulled into her driveway to see a "For Sale" sign in her yard. Thinking someone made a mistake, she opens the door to see her home cleared of it's furniture. Ready to call the police and her husband to report a burglary, she notices papers on the counter. It's a note from David, her husband telling her he's left her for his twenty-something pregnant girlfriend. He had filed for divorce. He even took the mad-money jar on the refrigerator. Not a good day at all.
Though she's lived in Chicago for twenty years, it's never felt like home. Now, this unemployed, soon-to-be-divorced empty nester is panicked. In her Motel 6 room, she tries to make sense of it all. She feels she has to get away, but where? Her only family is her twin brother, CW, and a sweet aunt in Bayou Okatrois, Louisiana. So, homeless, confused, and looking back on a life that wasn't what she had planned, she boards a plane headed south. Get it HERE

But then the unthinkable happens and Maureen finds herself traveling with their cat, Milly, instead of Mac. Mac's along for the ride, but it's just not how they planned it.
